# Tickets.dev

> Tickets.dev is a real-time ticket scraping API for retrieving live ticket
> inventory, pricing, fees, sections, rows, quantities, and seat maps from
> Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, TickPick, Vivid Seats, Gametime, Viagogo, GoTickets, Paciolan, ATG Tickets, ProVenue, GoFevo, Spotlight.Vegas, Vegas.com, Cirque du Soleil.
> One GET with a public event page URL returns a normalized snapshot as JSON.

One capture is one event with every listing on it, returned in a single
response. Captures are live, not cached: each call opens the event page and
reads its current state. The response schema is identical across every supported
marketplace, so one parser covers all of them.

- GET /v1/capture?url=&source=&includeVenueMaps=: Capture one event: every listing on it, in one response. A live key spends one credit; tk_test_sandbox returns a fixture and is never billed.
- GET /v1/capture/{source}?url=&includeVenueMaps=: The same capture with the marketplace in the path, e.g. /v1/capture/ticketmaster. Costs one capture with a live key. The public sandbox key tk_test_sandbox returns fixtures and is never billed.
- GET /v1/capture/sources: The marketplaces you can capture, and the hosts that route to each. Never billable.
- GET /v1/health: Service status. No key required.
- GET /v1/events?query=&source=&from=&to=&eventId=&prefix=&page=&pageSize=: Ticket event discovery and matching: search the catalog by name, performer, venue, date, or marketplace URL. Returns one unified event with every matched marketplace ID and URL. Never billed.

Parameters: `url` (required, a public event page URL; `eventUrl` is accepted
too), `source` (optional, one of the sources above, only needed when the
URL's host does not identify one), `includeVenueMaps` (optional boolean, off by
default; when true the response carries hosted section and seat level map URLs,
and `venueLayout` lists every section, row and seat of the venue for the event).

Authentication: send your API key in the `x-api-key` header. An `apiKey` query
parameter is also accepted. The public sandbox key `tk_test_sandbox` hits the
same paths and returns fixture snapshots (never billed, header
`Tickets-Sandbox: true`). A live org key runs a real capture and costs one
credit. Cut over by swapping the key. Nothing else in the request changes.

## Pricing

Priced per completed capture. Failed requests are never charged. Each invoice
adds that plan's captures; unused captures stay on the balance. Plans run from
Starter at $50/month for 1,000 captures
($0.050 each) up to 1,000,000 captures a
month at $0.005 each; above that, pricing is quoted.
Every plan includes every marketplace and live seat maps.
